Healthy chocolate fudge skewers

Does your family have a sweet tooth? You can still surprise them with a sweet treat this weekend – these healthy chocolate fudge skewers are sugar-free!

*Makes about 8


  • 125g butter
  • 125ml smooth almond butter
  • 180ml xylitol
  • 30ml cocoa powder
  • 5ml vanilla essence
  • Mixed berries


  1. Line a 15cm square tin with baking paper. Heat the butter, almond butter, xylitol and cocoa on medium-high and cook for 10 minutes. Stir continuously until smooth.
  2. Stir in vanilla and pour into the prepared tin. Refrigerate until set.
  3. Cut into 5.5cm hearts using a cookie cutter, or squares using a knife. Thread onto skewers with the berries.
  4. Store in the fridge.
