Your toddler will go mad for these cute omelette snails


Is your little one pulling his nose up at his usual yoghurt and toast at breakfast time? Brighten up breakfast with these cute omelette snails.

*Serves 1-2


  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 5 thin slices mozzarella
  • 4 slices sandwich ham
  • 2 viennas, halved and trimmed
  • 8 x 3cm carrot sticks
  • 8 x black sesame seeds
  • Handful mixed leaves


  1. Heat the butter in a 23cm frying pan on medium until melted. Beat together the eggs and milk. Season. Pour into the pan, tilting to cover in a thin layer. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until cooked. Allow to cool.
  2. Cover the omelette with the mozzarella and ham. Roll up tightly. Cut off ends and slice into 2cm slices.
  3. Secure the viennas onto the omelette rolls with toothpicks. Insert 2 carrot sticks for tentacles and top with 2 seeds for eyes. Serve on a bed of leaves.
