Win a 2-night stay for 2 at Saseka tented camp, worth R56 000!

This competition is now closed.

Saseka Tented Camp is the newest lodge in the Thornybush Collection, offering a truly unique, luxurious experience in a Big Five nature reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Saseka is the Tsonga word for beautiful, and if guests are lucky they might spot a beautiful female leopard that goes by the same name. It’s situated alongside the Monwana River, which sweeps through the Thornybush Nature Reserve. A distinct curve in the river was a natural catalyst for the site of the main area.

Saseka Tented Camp

The elevated tented suites give guests a full view of the riverbed and are surrounded by very large, and beautiful trees. The sand riverbed presents guests with game viewing opportunities from the comfort of their private decks.

Meticulous attention to detail has been paid to ensure sustainable design and comfortable, luxurious interiors that maximise access to the untouched wilderness surrounding the lodge. Each tented suite allows the sounds of nature and the bush to filter in and gives guests an immersive safari experience. The suites are spacious, reinforced canvas safari tents on permanent foundations with glass doors opening onto private decks and pools, complete with sun loungers and chairs.

Within the western border of The Greater Kruger National Park, you’ll find the Thornybush Private Nature Reserve, consisting of 14 000 hectares of untouched private wilderness and home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five.
