At age 41, Generations The Legacy actress Manaka Ranaka has given birth to her son. News of her pregnancy was made public in an interview she had in October with Daily Sun. She later hinted again about being pregnant on Instagram.
Her Instagram announcement showed a picture of her son sharing an introductory fist bump to the world. The picture is captioned “So good to finally be here. Now, where should I put my bags?”
Manaka received a lot of love from her industry friends, including co-stars Vuyo Dabula and Refilwe Madumo.
Manaka’s baby boy comes months after her 20-year-old daughter Katlego gave birth to her first grandson, Mpho. The ‘GSon’ she calls him.
Manaka seems to be enjoying motherhood, but it has not always been easy. She recently made news after sharing that she was influenced to abort her eldest daughter Katlego after starting a new acting job. Celebrating her daughter’s birthday, Manaka said “I remember when women I worked for told me to abort you.”
20 years later, Manaka has not looked back and has even been blessed with a new addition to the family.
