When Fikile Moeti, affectionately known as DJ Fix, isn’t making waves on one of South Africa’s biggest radio stations, she is snuggling with the new love of her life, Malakai.

When we catch up with DJ Fix, she is glowing and evidently happy. The reason? Since meeting her little man, Malakai now eight months, her entire life has changed for the better.
Being a mom has always been part of her plan and although she was nervous for this milestone, these feelings dissipated the moment her precious baby came kicking and screaming into the world. Fix was also lucky to have an easy pregnancy. “I had such a beautiful pregnancy, Malakai was healthy throughout and wasn’t keen to leave my tummy. He did give me a lot of heartburn though, which is apparently why he came out with so much hair. I also craved frozen watermelon and matured purple olives,” she says.
