Easter egg hunt at the Weekend Market

Where and when?

31 March from 11am at the Weekend Market, 1 Rifle Range Rd, Johannesburg

What’s happening?

Don’t miss out on this Easter egg hunt, the kids will have loads of fun with rides, a jumping castle, and action-packed games to look forward to. There are also some great prizes to be won!

Easter egg hunt at uShaka Marine World

When and where?

31 March -01 April at uShaka Marine World in Durban.

What’s happening?

This year 100 000 Beacon Marshmallow Eggs (in the form of tokens) will be hidden in nooks and crannies across the theme park. Kids will get a goody bag with an Easter treasure map highlighting clues to help them on their quest.

How much?

R186 for kids and R138 for adults. This gets you entry into Wet ‘n Wild, Sea World and uShaka Kids World, and the kids can participate in the biggest Easter egg hunt for free.

Extra info

The hunt will take place between 9am and 12pm. Each child will receive a goodie bag with an Easter Egg Hunt Map at registration, which happens between 8am and 8:45am at Arena 1. The Easter Hunt Map will feature a number of exciting clues with a completely new course, as well as added activities that are guaranteed to make the 2018 Easter egg expedition a memorable family event.

Easter egg hunt at the Mtwalumi holiday resort

When and where?

1 April from 8:30 am until late at Mtwalumi holiday resort, Dek Rd, Durban

What’s happening?

The kids can join in on the holiday excitement and participate in the Easter egg hunt. There are other fun activities on the line-up, like the egg-and-spoon challenge.

How much?

Entrance is free

The event is open to all kids and there’ll be adult supervision, so you don’t have to worry about your little one.

Easter “Eggsplorer” egg hunt

When and where?

31 March – 1 April, hunts takes place throughout the day, from 10am, at the Durban Botanical Gardens.

What’s happening?

Find all the giant Easter eggs the Easter Bunny has hidden in the gardens and claim your delicious chocolate surprise along with a Durban Botanic Gardens Eggsplorer Certificate. There will also be a cupcake-decorating stand, sand art, a bunny petting farm, carnival games, face painting, soft play and much more. The Easter bunny will also be making a surprise appearance along with his friends.

How much?

Tickets will cost R85 for explorers and R20 for observers (adults).

Extra info

The hunt will be split into two categories. For the little ones (aged one to three), the hunt will take place within the main arena in a safe, controlled environment.

For older kids (aged four to 14), the hunt will be in the gardens. Each participant will receive an Eggsplorer Map and will have to follow the trail and find the eggs hidden throughout the gardens.

Parents will be required to accompany all Eggsplorers.

What’s happening?

The kids have a lot to look forward to over the Easter weekend. They will particularly enjoy the popular treasure hunt with lots of prizes to be won. As well as the princess jumping castle, balloon sculptures, face-painting and loads more!

The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance, and the little ones will have photo ops.
