Everyone goes crazy for salty, sweet, crunchy peanut brittle.
Whip up a big batch and box up a couple of pieces as gifts for your little one’s teachers.
- 1 cup Snack Factory giant salted peanuts
- 1 cup castor sugar
- Place the caster sugar in a saucepan and cook on low heat. Shake the pan a little as it starts to melt. The sugar will start to clump together and turn caramel in colour. Once it is dark and caramelly, add the peanuts.
- Pour onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. When cold, break into pieces and enjoy with ice-cream, on top of a chocolate tart, or just plain.
