Sphelele Mzimela tells it like it is on Twitter – raising twins is wild!

Actress Sphelele Mzimela has finally welcomed her twin boys into the world – and already she’s in for a wild ride.

They say that everything happens in good time, and for Sphelele Mmzimela, this couldn’t be truer. The actress who is best known for her role as Mazaza in the popular TV 1 soapie Uzalo, is embracing life as a mom since giving birth to her long-awaited twin boys.

Thrilled with her double bundle of joy, she took to social media to make the announcement with a gorgeous black and white snap of her baby belly with the caption, “True love is finally here.”

The actress is reported to have struggled to conceive, and in an interview with Move! last year, she opened up about how she never went to a doctor to find out why she wasn’t falling pregnant because she was afraid it would break her heart.

“I was scared of finding out that maybe I will forever struggle to have children or something,” she said.

Her pregnancy was leaked after she allegedly fainted on set last year, but she subsequently took to social media to announce her delight with the news that she was expecting twins. She revealed that she’d only recently found out that twins run in her family – on her granny’s side, but that the mother of her babies’ father was a twin.

She also divulged that she’d made peace with her difficult pregnancy journey and realized that, perhaps, “the stars weren’t aligned properly.”

At the time Sphelele said, “I’ve never been happier but carrying twins is wild.”
