Plum Purée

Spoil your little one this festive season with this delicious plum purée recipe.


Makes approximately 500ml. Suitable for babies.

6 ripe plums, halved and stoned
½ cup water

Cut plums into chunks and steam in a little water until tender. Check frequently so as not to run out of water.
Purée the plums using the leftover cooking liquid , or add a little clear apple juice if needed.
Process according to your baby’s preferences or age.

Tip: Plum Purée freezes well. Portion into ice trays and pop in the freezer to set.
Once frozen, pop out of ice trays and store in a freezer Ziplock bag or a freezer–safe container.
