Building a Sleep Routine for Babies

No matter the nature of your child, there are certain cornerstones to achieving a flexible yet workable sleep routine.
Just as adults differ one from the other, so do babies. Some of us are morning people, while others are night owls; some must eat at regular times, and others forget all about meals. While some are born insomniacs, others could sleep through a thunderstorm. The same is true of babies, and the only good way to build a routine, is to take your baby’s individual nature into account. Understandably, most parents want their baby to have a predictable day and night, with more or less the same thing happening at the same time, so that they know what to expect.
Routine should also preferably suit parents’ needs, like sleeping through as soon as possible at night, so most people think! Certainly, parenting should be made as easy as possible, so long as it doesn’t harm the baby.
